Psychosomatic medicine

Persistent emotional, social and physical stress can lead to physical complaints and illnesses. Recognizing this is not always easy and requires to rule out organic causes. If the psychosomatic anamnesis points to causal life circumstances, personal conflicts, negative experiences or social stress for symptoms such as pain patterns, mental stress patterns, digestive disorders or sleep disorders, a multifaceted therapeutic approach is required.

So-called somatization disorders, physically perceived symptoms of psychological causes, are subconscious and not consciously induced. There is often a combination with manifest physical illnesses and the cause and effect of both are interdependent.

Psychosomatic medicine is also talking medicine and the confidential doctor-patient discussion can lead to a better understanding and forms the therapeutic basis.

Alternatively, the detailed and attention-oriented comprehensive homeopathic anamnesis and the anamnesis according to the rules of Traditional Chinese Medicine TCM are particularly effective in psychosomatic treatment.

TCM recognizes syndrome pictures as a holistic description of disease states and offers a variety of healing approaches beyond conventional medicine.
Acupuncture, NADA ear acupuncture from addiction therapy, cupping and Chinese dietetics are supportive therapy methods in the treatment of psychosomatic complaints.
