Preventive health care

We offer regular preventive services within the framework of statutory health insurance:

  • From the age of 12-14 years of age, the J1 youth health check-up
    An early detection examination for girls and boys that takes into account psychosocial aspects and the sexual maturation of adolescents.
  • 16+ | Youth health and safety examination
    At the start of vocational training and in individual cases after one year in succession, an examination that focuses on occupational health and safety and takes into account the individual resilience of the young person.
  • Check-up
    In order to identify the personal risk of chronic diseases, especially cardiovascular diseases, diabetes and kidney diseases, a health check-up is scheduled for them every three years from the age of 35. From the age of 18 up to the age of 35, the statutory health insurance fund covers a one-off health check. This allows you to prevent the development of illnesses at an early stage.
    The check-up includes a medical history and physical examination, blood pressure check, laboratory check of blood sugar and blood lipids, urine check for kidney disease and diabetes, check of current vaccination status – please don’t forget your vaccination card!
  • 18+ years of age up to 35
    One-off check-up for cardiovascular diseases and diabetes
  • 35 + years of age
    Health examination Check-up every three years. One-time screening examination for hepatitis B and hepatitis C. Not all spots are harmless! Every two years, it is important to check the appearance of your skin in order to recognize the development of unpleasant skin changes at an early stage. Skin cancer is on the increase, and we need to detect it early in order to treat it in good time. Changes in skin appearance require a trained eye and if there is any suspicion, we arrange for treatment by a specialist.
    Young and still have a skin finding that worries you? Talk to me, I want to see it and make sure that you are not taking any risks under the age of 35.
  • 45 + years of age
    Annual cancer screening for men.
  • 50 + years of age to 54
    Annual bowel cancer screening by testing for blood in the stool.
  • 55 + years of age
    Colorectal cancer screening either every 2 years for blood in the stool or 2 colonoscopies at least 10 years apart.
  • 65 + years of age
    Screening auf eine Erweiterung der Bauchschlagader / Aneurysma der Aorta
  • 70 + years of age
    Geriatric screening. Examination for depression, dementia, assessment of mobility and advice on provision of aids, social counselling, care allowance, severe disability, etc.
