Healthcare proxy

In the health care proxy, you specify who will make important decisions if you are no longer able to make decisions for yourself, e.g. due to an accident or illness. The authorized representative then becomes the representative of your will. In a living will, on the other hand, the patient’s wishes are recorded for treatment situations that are not imminent.
