Electrocardiography

Electrocardiography can be used to detect various diseases, such as heart attack, coronary artery disease, atrial fibrillation or flutter, slow heartbeat, myocarditis and thickening of the heart wall. The electrical activity of the heart, which occurs with every heartbeat, is derived and recorded in the form of curves. A distinction is made between resting ECG, exercise ECG and long-term ECG.
