Children’s health
As a family doctor, children are welcome patients. Whether acutely with infections or chronic complaints, we support the local pediatricians. Advice on psychosocial or family conflicts is part of my work. As the first point of contact, we can mediate in stressful situations and work together to find solutions. The overload of psychological and psychiatric therapists puts the pilot function of the GP system in the foreground. We cannot change long waiting times for specialist help, but first aid can often help to classify mental distress and find initial solutions.
Children’s years are vaccination years, please contact me if you have any questions about vaccinations. We carry out the usual vaccinations according to the rules of the official vaccination guidelines. You can find more information on our vaccination page.
The vaccination advice for vaccination against human papilloma viruses in particular offers a good introduction to the issues of self-determined sexuality in adolescents, an important aspect that is often neglected and is significant for the mental and physical health of the child. Children today are exposed to sexual issues more than ever before, whether intentionally or unintentionally. The opportunity to ask personal questions, if desired, exists.
From the age of 12, we take part in the adolescent examinations J1 and J2, which are covered by health insurance.
From the age of 12 to 14: J1 / J2 youth protection check-up

18 +Check-up
In order to identify the personal risk of chronic diseases, especially cardiovascular diseases, diabetes and kidney diseases, a one-off health check-up is provided by the statutory health insurance fund from the age of 18 up to the age of 35. This allows you to prevent the development of diseases at an early stage. The check-up includes a medical history and physical examination, blood pressure check, laboratory check of blood sugar and blood lipids, urine check for kidney disease and diabetes, check of current vaccination status – please don’t forget your vaccination certificate!
Homeopathy
Homeopathy – talking, questioning and gentle medicine has proven itself in the treatment of children with chronic illnesses or as acute medicine. An extensive medical history gives us time to understand the case better and to treat it in a more complex way. If conventional treatment is indicated as a priority, we will initiate it immediately. In addition, the “sweet medicine” of globules is popular with children and has few side effects, so unnecessary medication can be avoided. For the time being, many health insurance companies cover the costs of therapy. An initial anamnesis at the start of therapy is a prerequisite for acute treatment via the health insurance fund. Please inform yourself on our Homeopathy-Page.
Please always make an appointment specifically for homeopathy if you wish so that we can schedule it.
